How do I join the church? There are three essentials to joining a United Methodist Church: Baptism, Profession of Faith, and Uniting with a local congregation. If you have never been baptized, you will be asked to profess the Christian faith in Holy Baptism. If you have already been baptized in any part of the Christian faith, the United Methodist Church honors your baptism. You will be asked to either unite with First United Methodist Church by a letter of transfer from another church, or if you are not a member of another church by a Profession of Faith. All people who join the United Methodist Church are also asked to support the local church with their prayers, their presence, their gifts, their service, and their witness. Please contact either of our pastors, Dr. Grayson Lucky or Rev. Susan Southall, to discuss becoming a member of First Church.DirectionsClick here to get directions from Google Maps.We are located a few blocks west of downtown Enid at the corner of Randolph and Jefferson.
