Socially Your child will learn principles of cooperation and respect for rules which are needed for the wellbeing of all. Emotionally Your child’s self-esteem will grow and be strengthened in a positive, nurturing environment of understanding and acceptance. Physically Fine-motor skills such as cutting, pasting, taping, and painting will be sharpened on a daily basis.  Gross motor skills such as hopping, jumping, and climbing will be developed in the gross motor room or the outdoor playground. Intellectually Your child will have opportunities to develop math and science skills such as matching, sorting, measuring, observing, classifying, and hypothesizing.  Your child’s imagination and creativity will grow through make-believe (dramatic) play.  Language skills will grow through conversations with friends and teachers.  Early reading and writing skills will develop as the look at books, enjoy a daily story time, paint at the easel, and have countless other experiences with print.
