Adult Choirs Chancel Choir - meets Wednesdays, late August through June, 7:00-8:00 pm This choir provides music leadership at the 10:50 worship service each week. The choir sings a variety of choral music including special music services during Christmas and Easter. This choir invites participation for all adult age groups. No audition is required. Handbell Choir - The Chancel Ringers meets on Wednesdays, September through May, 5:45-6:45 pm in room 301. This group rings music during morning worship several times a year. The only requirements for membership are basic music reading ability and a desire to ring hand bells. We welcome anyone to join this group. Youth Choir The youth choir meets during the Sunday School hour (9:40 am). They sing more contemporary music in a variety of styles, often accompanied by guitars, keyboard, and drums. Membership in this choir is open to any youth in grades 6-12. No audition is required. Contact Devon Krause, Director of Youth Ministry (237-2041 x112) for more information. Children’s Choir Children in grades 1 through 5 sing together at the beginning of every Sunday school hour and in worship every six to eight weeks. First Church also provides a choir camp one week each summer where elementary school children have the opportunity to learn a fun Bible-based musical which is presented in the worship service at the end of the week.
